Conditions of Insurance

The exclusions under which this supplementary contract will not provide coverage are as stated in the policy issued to the insured. The exclusions listed in this document represent only part of the coverage exclusions, for example:
- Suicide or attempt at suicide or infliction of self-injury
- Whilst the insured is in the course of committing a felony or whilst under arrest by authorities because of commission of felony.
- Any loss or injury arising from the action of the covered person whilst under the influence of alcohol, addictive drugs, narcotic drugs to the extent of being unable to control one’s mind. The term “under the influence of alcohol” in case of having a blood test refers to a blood/alcohol level of 150% mg and over.
- Murder or assault intentionally
- Whilst the Insured is engaging in a brawl or taking part in inciting a brawl, among others.
Q: What is the maximum Sum Assured under the Comprehensive Personal Accident Rider (CPA Extra) ?
A: The maximum Sum Assured is THB 2,000,000 per insured person, subject to the following conditions:
- For insured persons aged 30 days - 15 years: The maximum Sum Assured must not exceed 3 times the Sum Assured of the basic policy, and when combined with the Sum Assured of CPA, CPA 2.6, and CPA Extra policies in force, the total must not exceed THB 2,500,000 per insured person.
- For insured persons aged 16 years and above: The maximum Sum Assured must not exceed 6 times the Sum Assured of the basic policy, and when combined with the Sum Assured of CPA, CPA 2.6, and CPA Extra policies in force, the total must not exceed THB 5,000,000 per insured person.
Q: If the insured person passes away and the Company has paid the benefit according to the Sum Assured stated in the Schedule of Benefits, will the Comprehensive Personal Accident Rider (CPA Extra) remain in force ?
A: The Comprehensive Personal Accident Rider (CPA Extra) will immediately terminate.
Q: If the insured receives full 100% benefit from Total Permanent Disability, will the Comprehensive Personal Accident Rider (CPA Extra) remain in force ?
A: The Comprehensive Personal Accident Rider (CPA Extra) will immediately terminate.
- *In the case of selecting the Sum Assured of THB 2,000,000.
- Insurance acceptance is subject to the terms and criteria determined by the Company.
- Coverage and the payment of benefits shall be in accordance with the conditions specified in the policy.
- The supplementary contract / endorsement has a coverage period of 1 year. The insured may request to renew the supplementary contract / endorsement under the terms of the supplementary contract. For renewal years, premiums may change depending on age, occupation class, and other terms and criteria of the Company.
- Insured persons who wish to use their health insurance premiums for personal income tax deductions must notify and consent to the Company providing the premium information to the Revenue Department.
